This sensor is a 1/16 NPT fitment, this requires thread sealant to seal. 


The glass bead tip can be exposed to fuel with no problems, this opens up many possibilities for getting air temp measurement in areas that weren't possible before.

The glass bead tip on this sensor is very fragile, care must be taken during handling and installation.  If the tip breaks the sensor is not usable. 



*May 2025 Update*


Due to a manufacturing change on the sensor elements, the calibration on the V2 sensor is very slightly different.  There are two worksheets attached.  The V2 sensor will be labeled as such if purchased pre-termed by T1.  The raw sensor will  have a small piece of yellow shrink over the element for shipping protection, where the V1 had black.  


There are 4 Motec M1 Configuration tables below, these can be imported directly into M1 packages. 


There are two for each sensor (V1 and V2 sensor).  Due to the available number of data points in the M1, each focuses more resolution on one end of the sensor.  The one with the lower temp rating should be used when the sensor is used post intercooler and the one with the higher temp rating should be used when the sensor is used pre intercooler (reads to 572F)
