Like every other component on your vehicle, fuel injectors need maintenance. Injector Dynamics offers a cleaning and inspection service for all Injector Dynamics fuel injectors. Everything you need is below.
Ready to send your injectors in? Start here — the form takes about three minutes.
Start a Cleaning & Inspection Request
You'll get a Service Order Number by email within 1 business day. Do not ship your injectors before you have that number.
How it works
- Find your serial numbers. Every authentic Injector Dynamics injector carries a unique 4–7 character code, hand-engraved or laser-etched on the metal collar at the base of the connector. If your injectors have no such marking, they are not authentic Injector Dynamics injectors and we can't service them.
- Complete the Cleaning & Inspection form (open the form). Double-check your telephone number, email and return shipping address — that address is exactly where your injectors come back to.
- Wait for your Service Order Number. We email it within 1 business day, along with confirmation that your request is open.
- Write the Service Order Number on the outside of the box and ship the complete set. Address and carrier rules are below.
Finding your serial number
The serial is etched on the metal collar at the base of the electrical connector, below the “Off-Road Motorsport Use Only” text. It is the complete alphanumeric group — include the letters, not just the digits. The model marking further down the collar is not a serial number, and neither are any part or casting numbers on the injector body.

On the injector above, the serial is 7XFH388.
List every injector's serial on the form. We can only test complete sets, so send the whole set and list them all.
Where to ship
Don't ship until you have your Service Order Number.
A box that arrives without that number written legibly on the outside sits in receiving until we can work out whose it is. This is the single biggest cause of delay.
| Injector Dynamics Attn: SO xxx 7256 S. 89th Place, Suite 111 Mesa, AZ 85212 |
Replace SO xxx with the Service Order Number we emailed you — for example SO 12346RB.
UPS, FedEx or DHL only. Packages shipped via the United States Postal Service cannot be accepted at this facility.
Before you pack them
- Send the complete set. Partial sets can't be matched against each other.
- Leave the injectors exactly as they came out — no solvents, no ultrasonic cleaning, no disassembly. Leave all seals, O-rings, spacers and adapters on the injector.
- Pack so nothing rattles against the pintle end.

How long it takes
Once your injectors reach our facility in Mesa, Arizona, standard service takes approximately 5–7 business days. Expedited service brings that down to 3 business days for an additional $40 per set — select it on the form when you submit your request, not afterwards.
What cleaning can and can't fix
Where proper filtration hasn't been used, or fuel system maintenance has been skipped, we can't guarantee the cleaning will succeed. Particles lodged in the valve can't always be freed, and flow stays restricted. We report what we find and present replacement options case by case. Filtration is worth reading about before it becomes a problem see - our article on fuel system filtration.
Warranty
The warranty period is 1 year from the date of original purchase and covers manufacturer defects. Getting the expected life out of any aftermarket injector requires the correct fuel type and correct filtration. Where those steps weren't taken, or warnings about fuel types and maintenance were ignored, the warranty doesn't apply.
