The GT1R VR38 Spec ATI Damper was not originally designed for use on the VR38, but is easily adapted with a slight modification to the front cover and timing belt tensioner bracket. There is a raised mounting hole provision on the front cover circled below, this spot needs to be ground down to level with the webbing you see directly below it.
The timing belt tensioner needs to be clearanced on the the bottom until it clears the top of the damper with a comfortable amount of space with the bolt holes lined up on the bracket and front cover:
